Does DEMACH GmbH reimburse the costs that the exhibitors have had up to now?

DEMACH GmbH has always emphasized that the BioCHIP Berlin will only take place if the pandemic situation allows it. Please understand that DEMACH GmbH can therefore not assume any costs that you may incur due to the cancellation of the event. These include, for example, cancellation costs for travel or hotel rooms as well as costs for stand construction. It is the participants’ responsibility to check whether reimbursement or goodwill arrangements are offered by the respective contractual partner.

Do exhibitors have to cancel their stand rental, exhibitor passes, guest ticket package, or advertising contract?

DEMACH GmbH will not invoice exhibitors for any expenses incurred in connection with the BioCHIP Berlin. For exhibitors, this means that no invoice will be issued for stand rental, exhibitor passes, guest ticket package, or advertising contract. Cancellation of services already booked will be automatic. Exhibitors do not have to take any action themselves.

In the event of any direct conflict between this Policy and General Contract Terms and Conditions of BioCHIP Berlin 2022, this Policy will prevail.

BioCHIP Berlin 2021 will not be held as planned from 8 to 9 June on account of the Covid-19 related restrictions. Due to the continuing uncertainty resulting from the pandemic, the next BioCHIP Berlin dates have already been scheduled - for 10 to 11 May 2022.

Existing contracts between DEMACH GmbH and the exhibitors will remain valid for the alternative dates. Booth registration and speaker submission for the new dates are now open. We invite you to register your booth today and take advantage of savings. We are very much looking forward to exciting shows, lectures and discussions and hope to see you all in Berlin in May 2022.

Following the COVID-19 restrictions issued by the German Government on 17 June to prohibit large gatherings at least until the end of October 2020, with the possibility of extending the ban until the end of the year, we have decided to postpone the BioCHIP Berlin to June 8 and 9, 2021 at the same location.

We are very much looking forward to exciting shows, lectures and discussions and hope to see you all in Berlin in June 2021.
